September 7.- MiaSci Community Days. Residents of Miami-Dade County and the City of Miami will be given free admission to the Museum with proof of address (driver’s license, voter registration or light bill) (August 30-31st and weekdays in September from 3-6pm daily. September 9.- $5 Day at Zoo Miami. Zoo Miami and Walmart are offering a special $5 admission so you can enjoy the zoo with the whole family. General admission is usually $15.95 for adults (13+) and $11.95 for children (ages 3 to 12). Admission is free for children ages 2 and younger and 25% off for seniors. September 9.- The Tempest by William Shakespeare. Stranded on a deserted island with his daughter, a usurped duke is granted his chance at revenge. September 10.- Chilean Film Festival. a full week dedicated to Chilean filmmaking at Miami’s historical Tower Theater in Calle Ocho, where we will be celebrating with pride the bicentennial anniversary of the independence of Chile. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the disaster relief effort to help the victims of the earthquake that affected Chile on February 27th, 2010. September 10.- Fashion’s Nights Out. Village of Merrick Park invites you to celebrate Fashion’s Night Out. Enjoy an evening celebrating fashion.
