It’s been 40 years since they first celebrated Earth Day, an opportunity to make a personal commitment to our planet, our home, the only one we have. Millions of people around the world are joining force to make a difference, and Miami has plenty of activities to learn, share and do something for our environment.

Thursday, April 22. Free admission to Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. Enjoy the park, win native plants and have some fun.
Thursday, April, 22. IV Hispanic Earth Day Celebration. Opening of Terra Solare Environmental and Cultural Center at Solare Garden 3550 NW 78 Ave. Doral
Saturday, April, 24. Miami Going Green. At Crandon Park. A one-stop-shop for everything green. Live seminars at the Eco-Stage will keep visitors entertained, exhibitors and vendors from across the country will be showing off the latest and greatest in green-tech.
Saturday April 24. Join the City of Miami Beach and Commissioner Michael Gongora at 9:30 am at South Pointe Park for a clean up day.
Saturday and Sunday, April 24 – 25. Party for the Planet at Metro Zoo. Enjoy,recycle, learn and help the Metro Zoo raise funds.
Last but not least… Join us for our first event: Leave No Waste. Sunday, April 25. Join us and our friends Ombu Lifestyle www.ombulifestyle.com, and GG www.ggartwork.com, for a fun clean up at South Point Beach. High School Seniors: come get your community service hours with us.
