It’s our city’s birthday, its 114th birthday!!!! and the celebration is this Wednesday, July 28th at the American Airlines Arena. Join Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado, and many Miami residents for an evening filled with everything this wonderful city has to offer.
There will be a food tasting from 20 top restaurants, premium open bars compliments of Grey Goose, live music, and the cost is only $25. The best part of it all, the $25 you pay to enjoy this big celebration goes to a local charity of your choice: Allapattah Community Action Center, Best Buddies, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Centro Mater, CHARLEE Homes for Children, Downtown Miami Partnership, Friends of Gusman, Friends of Miami-Dade Public Library, Friends of Miami Marine Stadium, Hands on Miami, Switchboard of Miami, Voices for Children, and YWCA.
Guests attending this event will receive a complimentary poster featuring the original artwork of Stephen Gamson created to commemorate this special event. This year will be the first time Miami celebrates its official birthday but it will definitely not be the last, The City of Miami and DowntownMiami.com are bringing this event every year because everyone deserves to celebrate their birthday, right?
